Lockport Canalside is a unique and versatile facility that easily accommodates
a variety of activities - Casual Parties, Formal Weddings, Meetings, Reunions,
Memorials, Company Picnics, or any time you want a unique memorable event.

The bright, open, spacious feeling of the Canalside creates an atmosphere that encourages participants to relax and enjoy the time spent along the Canal.

There's a lot to do and see, as well as delicious food, at our year-round Lockport Canalside. The 1840 warehouse has been renovated to provide a casual yet elegant Canal Town atmosphere.

Picture your guests strolling the "cobblestone" street through a 200-foot steel fabricated building renovated to resemble a 1900s "Canal Town"; dancing with a background of the 1800s original canal stone wall, viewing interesting canal exhibits located throughout the building; and enjoying the spaciousness and ambiance of "Life in the Past Lane."

The casual, yet elegant Veranda banquet room has over 100 windows directly overlooking the Canal. The white linen tablecloths and napkins along with the natural colors and elegant centerpieces coordinate with any theme.

Our "wooden plank" floored Meeting Room is fully enclosed for privacy. The giant skylight and the windows that overlook the cobblestone walkway and Canal give this room a light and airy feeling.

The meeting room is a perfect wedding chapel, meeting break-out room, and private dining area.

The Pub with its antique mahogany bar with brass rails and mirrored backbar is well stocked to provide your favorite beverages.

Alongside one of the original 1800 stone walls, the lantern-style street lights, and under the skylight is the cafe. Guests seated in this area have the feeling of being outdoors.

All meals are prepared with that special touch of chef and staff who genuinely want each guest to praise the food and service. They receive compliments with every meal (and they love it). Everything from a continental breakfast to an elegant sit-down dinner, all meals are freshly prepared in our own kitchens. We even bake our own bread.

Prefer to actually be outdoors along the Canal? The private Canalside Grove has seating for over 300 and 100 foot enclosed shelter with a 15-foot fully stocked bar. White linen and china create a fine dining atmosphere in this unique, relaxing Canalside dining area.

Guests enjoy the outdoor feeling in complete comfort. They can even stroll among our almost 500 feet of picnic area on the Erie Canal banks.

No matter which area you choose for your event, you will be pleased with the great food. Our full-time professional chef uses the highest quality fresh ingredients to provide a meal that is freshly prepared just for your group.
